Transparency under the EU AI Act
AI Transparency
Stand:
In short
The text, translations, graphics and data overviews on this website are made with AI. A person is responsible for everything that gets published: Julian Dominic Altmann.
That is why every page shows an AI notice at the top, every article carries a note in the author box, and the footer links to this page.
What is made with AI
- Articles: AI agents collect sources, evaluate vendor documentation, API data and pricing pages, and write the German and English versions.
- Quick answers, key facts and FAQs in articles are summarised from the article text with AI.
- Graphics: charts, table images and some abstract header illustrations are made with AI assistance.
- Subscription comparisons: prices are read from vendor pages by an automated job; descriptions, pros and cons are written with AI.
- Hardware pages: device data and recommendation text are prepared with AI.
- Website code: largely written with AI coding tools.
What is not made with AI
- You never talk to an AI on this website. There is no chatbot and no feature that sends your input to an AI system.
- The RAM calculator and the filters use fixed formulas and data, not an AI model.
- There are no AI-generated images, videos or audio that realistically depict real people, places or events (deepfakes).
- Images and videos from vendors (for example benchmark charts) come from those vendors and are credited in the article.
Human oversight and responsibility
I set topics, source rules and automated checks (links, citations, prices, build), fix errors and decide what stays online. Editorial responsibility under Section 18(2) MStV lies with Julian Dominic Altmann (address in the imprint).
Many steps up to publication are automated, and not every sentence is read by hand beforehand. So all content is labelled as AI-assisted instead of relying on the exemption for fully editorially reviewed text.
AI models make mistakes. Figures therefore carry a date and a source; original measurements are marked as such in the article. All information is without guarantee, see the imprint.
AI systems used
For research, writing, translation, graphics and code I use large language models from cloud providers, for example Claude by Anthropic, through agent and coding tools. These services only receive working material such as sources, drafts and code, never data about visitors to this website.
Legal framework
Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) requires that AI-generated or AI-manipulated text published to inform the public on matters of public interest is disclosed as such. The same applies to deepfakes. These duties apply from 2 August 2026.
Under Article 50(5) the disclosure must be clear and distinguishable at the latest at the first exposure. This website does that with:
- an AI notice directly below the header on every page,
- a note in the author box of every article,
- an “AI transparency” link in the footer of every page,
- this page with the details.
Advertising and affiliate links are labelled separately, see the affiliate disclosure. How data is processed when you visit this site is described in the privacy policy.

If you spot a mistake, email macmini-ai.lifter912@silomails.com. I apply verified corrections promptly and update the date on the article.
